AKRO-FARMS APPOINTS NEW FINANCE MANAGER

Akro-Farms, the biggest integrated and fully automated poultry farm in West Africa, has appointed Joseph Tetteh as Finance manager.

His appointment took effect from August 17, 2020.

Joseph has over 11 years’ experience in senior finance roles within high volume enterprise. He joins Akro-Farms from Doxa Consulting, a startup, private accountancy and business management firm in Tamale, leading the provision of best in class short term technical assistance to small scale and medium enterprises.        

 Prior to that, He was hired as a Finance Manager for GILLBT, an NGO with a workforce of about 150 people headquartered in Tamale, and was responsible for all financial services and maintaining accounting controls across all GILLBT projects in 40 language communities. He succeeded in managing a USAID Funded Education project and DFID (UKAID) funded projects, Created efficiency by revising the financial procedures and updating financial policies in place to address compliance and operational risks, reduce processing time and streamlined the budget system by standardizing the budget process and enhancing organizational resource allocation to high impact initiatives.   

The Board of the company, chaired by Mr. Ntow-Kissiedu expressed delight at Mr. Tetteh’s new appoint, They are confident that he is a valuable addition to the board as he will play a key and pivotal role in achieving the Company’s vision of becoming the most Vibrant and Iconic poultry farm business in West Africa and focusing on driving out cost to invest in sustained profitable growth as well as lead in engaging with our investor community. Joseph is a member of the Global Academy of Finance Management and alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST, Ghana) and DonBosco University (India).
